Our Commitment

All Things Abound is committed to making our website accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We strive to meet or exceed the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

Conformance Status

We are working toward full conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Our current website incorporates:

• Semantic HTML5: Proper headings, landmarks, and lists for meaningful structure
• ARIA Labels: Navigation, sections, and interactive elements include appropriate roles and labels
• Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements are accessible without a mouse
• Color Contrast: Minimum 4.5:1 ratio for normal text, 3:1 for large text
• Alt Text: All meaningful images include descriptive alternative text
• Responsive Design: Functional across different screen sizes and orientations
• Focus Indicators: Visible focus indicators for keyboard users
• Text Resizing: Content remains readable and functional at up to 200% zoom
• No Autoplay: We do not use audio or video that plays automatically

ADA Compliance

We are committed to compliance with: Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and WCAG 2.1 Guidelines (Level AA).

Assistive Technology Support

Our website is designed to be compatible with screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack), voice recognition software (Dragon NaturallySpeaking), screen magnification tools, keyboard-only navigation, and Windows High Contrast mode.

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are actively working to improve color contrast in some decorative elements and expand keyboard shortcut documentation.

We conduct regular accessibility audits, train our team on best practices, include accessibility requirements in our design process, and engage with users with disabilities to learn from their experiences. This statement is reviewed and updated at least annually.
